Mazars Vietnam Notice on Covid-19 Pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic is causing uncertainty and disruption around the world. Mazars Group priorities are to protect people and ensure business continuity and service for our clients, working as one partnership, supporting each other across the globe. Since the beginning of the crisis, we, Mazars in Vietnam, have been closely monitoring the situation and taking action to mitigate the effects of the pandemic. We remain by our clients’ sides, helping them navigate these unprecedented times.

Dear clients and business partners,

Mazars is closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation, in order to prepare and respond as necessary, wherever we are in the world. As a firm, we are committed to acting responsibly and are taking the necessary actions to prevent contagion and protect our people and the communities we interact with.

The safety and wellbeing of our people and of those of our clients is a top priority, whilst continuing to operate our business and meet our clients’ needs.

Mazars is a modern firm, fully supportive of agile working and we have the technology and capabilities in place to enable our people to work remotely as and when needed. The ability to securely work remotely is essential and, in many countries, including those most impacted such as China, Italy or Spain, our teams are already working remotely. We aim to operate our business as normally as possible. Robust business continuity plans are in place to consider and mitigate the impact of Covid-19 across our international operations.

In Vietnam, we wish to advise our clients and partners that our two offices in Vietnam are still open for business.  We have activated our business continuity plan to ensure that we continue to deliver uninterrupted service to our clients, that we are contactable and all our staff are working in a safe environment.

Our business continuity plan includes rotating our service teams such that some are in the office while others are working remotely at home, limiting internal and external face to face meetings, and using technology for meetings and communication. This will be in effect until further notice.

In summary:

  • Our offices in HCMC and Hanoi are open
  • We are encouraging conference calls and online meetings
  • We commit to deliver uninterrupted service

The situation is changing rapidly, and we continue to monitor developments regularly and carefully, ensuring we are well prepared, and we can react appropriately.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your regular Mazars contact person, our Managing Partner Mr. Jean-Marc Deschamps at his respective contact below.
