As you may know, the Ministry of Finance issued Decision 345/QD-BTC approving the scheme to implement financial reporting standards in Vietnam on 16 March 2020. The transition to International Accounting Standards (“IFRS”) is a complex process that requires careful planning and preparation. In order to keep your conversion roadmap on track whilst staying cost efficient, enterprises should be well aware of critical differences between the Vietnamese Accounting Standards (“VAS”) and IFRS.
