Seminar on TP 1

Seminar on Transfer Pricing held by Mazars Vietnam

Mazars Vietnam successfully organized Seminars on Transfer Pricing in Hanoi and Hochiminh City on 23 and 25 November 2011 respectively. Coming to the event, clients enjoyed the opportunity to listen to our experienced speakers and discuss about Key elements & requirements of TP Regulations and Preparation of a TP Documentation The Seminar attracted hundreds of clients from foreign invested enterprises. Following the success of this event, Mazars Vietnam plans to hold another Seminar in the next few months.

ACCA qualifications in demand in challenging times

The demand for a professional accountancy qualification has remained high during tough economic times as the results from the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) examinations in June reveal that 196,000 students sat papers, with more than 6,000 taking a major step towards membership of the global body for professional accountants. Candidates around the world took more than 373,000 papers, with 6,294 students successfully completing their final ACCA examinations. A further 2,978 students completed the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) exams.

Top Trade Service Awards are annually held by Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade to honour prominent enterprises and businessmen in the areas of industry, trade and service who has made a large contribution to the socio-economic development of the country. The awarding ceremony is live broadcast on Vietnam Television (VTV) on 19 December 2010.

Mazars Vietnam - Winner of Golden Dragon Awards 2010

Among the best 80 FIEs out of 2,000 FDI enterprises doing business in Vietnam, Mazars Vietnam has been awarded “Golden Dragon Award 2010”, Vietnam's most prestigious prize. Golden Dragon Awards are co-organized annually by Vietnam Economic Times and the Foreign Investment Department under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, to recognize and honor the success of foreign invested enterprises (FIEs) in Vietnam and their contribution to the economy. This year, the 10th Golden Dragon Award is presented in tandem with celebrations of the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi. The Golden Dragon Award 2010 Presentation Ceremony was held on 22 January 2011 at the Hanoi Opera House and was live broadcast on Vietnam Television (VTV). On behalf of Mazars Vietnam, Mr. Trung Nguyen - Audit Partner was invited to stage to receive Golden Dragon Cup and Certificate.
